Community House Calls of Chester, NH has been recognized as the small business category winner of the 2006 New Hampshire Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. This honor recognizes high ethical standards of behavior towards customers, employees, suppliers, and communities in which they do business. Honesty in advertising and training programs promoting ethical work habits are also considered. The award was presented to Founder and President Raymond Mailloux at a dinner on November 1st at C. R. Sparks in Manchester. The program included an inspiring presentation by Gary Hirshberg, president of Stonyfield Farm, the world's largest manufacturer of organic yogurt. There were well over 250 members of the NH Better Business Bureau in attendance, and all applauded the efforts to promote ethics and responsibility, honesty and integrity in working with customers and clients. The award in the mid-size company category went to C.A. Hoit Furniture of Manchester, and the award in the large-size company division went to College Bound Movers of Amherst.
