They (the workers) did their work. They didn't stop, they worked all day. They are the nicest guys on earth - they stayed out a whole week (working) in the rain. It is so well done....the visiting nurse said she'd never seen anything so rigid....such a well build ramp....and the bathroom is out of this world! I've seen walk-in showers before, but this is amazing. He can go in and out by himself... and he has a fold down seat - it's big and has sturdy legs....I'm thrilled!"

Thank you so much for preparing my mothers’ residence for her return home. Our family is very pleased with your work and your personal care. I have never done business with someone who shown a deep concern and interest in making sure everything is “perfect” and that everyone involved is comfortable. You have been a tremendous help during a trying time for our family, and for me personally. It was very hard to accept that my mother has dementia at the age of 61 and I have been trying to educate myself as to what to expect and how to take care of her the best way possible, she is my mother and my best friend. But of course there were things that I was not prepared for and your concern and guidance was a great help. I really canít thank you enough for everything.

The work you did on the house, the assessment, installing door alarms, the nightlights and the locking cabinets was done efficiently and with care, especially for having the pressure of a deadline. Your extra assistance with getting us in contact with Lifeline Care was greatly appreciated; our family does feel an extra sense of security knowing that is also in place. And I am very glad that we signed up for your monthly service.

If anyone ever has the unfortunate experience of having a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or Dementia I would be more than happy to recommend your services, feel free to list me as a reference regarding your company. Since my mothers diagnosis I can honestly say that you have been the most helpful and concerned person in our efforts to get her home and keep her home as long as possible. I know that she appreciates it too.

It has been eight months now since first we met and using the services offered by Community House Calls. Accordingly, I think it is probably about time I gave you a ‘report card’ on how I think those services were performed.

I can sum up the report card in one word- Superior. The results of your work far surpass my expectations. Now, to elaborate just a bit:

Your dependability is worthy of note. Not only are you punctual in meeting time agreements, but the work you have performed is of the highest quality - and consistently so. There is no doubt that the results of your work are worth every penny paid. Not only that, but you seem to take pride in doing a good job.

I consider our relationship to be more as friends than as employer/employee. You have always been courteous towards me, but not overly solicitous. You seem to appreciate the fact that, as one who may not be appreciated by one as young as you. You have adapted to those habits and actions of mine without fuss or intent to change them. Futhermore, you seem to accept the fact that I need help, (which you ably provide) but that I am not helpless.

You are very trustworthy. I hesitate not to leave the house when you are here never when this has happened, has there been any occasion for me to doubt this admirable attribute of yours.

My agency serves as guardian over many elderly persons. Many of our clients are able to reside in their own homes but due to their declining health, can’t arrange for home repairs or modifications. This puts them at risk of injury.

The able services of Community House Calls has extended their independence in their own homes. Ray and his staff have solved heating problems, installed handrails, made a valve leading to a washer easier to use, added grab bars in the bathroom, steadied a wobbly set of cellar stairs and installed smoke detectors. In each instance, the job was done quickly, efficiently and professionally. Ray made good suggestions for enhancing safety but did not pressure the elder or us to buy more of his services than desired.

My husband and I recently took in an elderly family member and needed to have someone come into our home to give us an evaluation to see what changes we needed to make in order for our home to be more elserly friendly. Community House calls promptly responded to our call and came out and gave us a very comprehensive evaluation. We were given suggestions and options to have Community House calls perform the changes. The installations were promptly performed by skilled and professional personnel. We are delighted with the changes that have been made and the follow-up visits to check their work.
